We style our clients in our private studio space. There are complimentary light snacks, refreshments, and entertainment for you to enjoy while your being styled.

All services require deposit of $70 as a non-refundable retainer to confirm the apppointment. The difference must be paid immediately after completion of service. Please text 917-789-1952 or dm @brownsugarkiss for any FAQs or special requests (travel fee/ custom color blend, etc)

We understand being torn between styles, but for prep and timing adjustments, any changes/cancellation of appointments must be made 48 hours before to avoid forfeiting the retainer

Hair must come washed, blown out, and at least 4 inches in circumference to be styled. If hair is not washed clean, I will refuse to service you, and your appointment and retainer will be forfeited. 

If you cannot blow your hair out there will be a $25 service added

I provide the braiding hair for knot less braids (synthetic) in the colors 1B, 2, 4, 27, & 30. Synthetic curls in the colors 1b, 2, and 4. Any other colors must be discussed before hand! Custom colors (3 or more) is an additional $75. Any human hair styles will be an additional cost paid for IN FULL before appointment or client can bring their own human hair with them

Life can be unpredictable and we understand so there is a 20 min grace period before a $25 late fee is applied to your service.  

Cancellation with no refund after 30 minutes with a $75 cancellation fee

The balance must be paid in CASH!!!! If card is used for payment NYS TAX OF 8.75% will be applied! 

Payment must be PAID IN FULL UPON COMPLETION!  NO EXCEPTIONS

Hair must be at least 4 inches in circumference

PLEASE NO BLUNT CUTS!!!! But open to styling if communicated before hand with a picture of current hair status

Appointments made SAME DAY or LESS THAN 48hrs IN ADVANCED will have a Squeeze-In Fee of $75 in Addition to the 50% deposit. 

Please make sure your day is open as braids take time! Braids are an art and should be respected as such. We all are individuals so hair texture and head size may run the appointment shorter or longer. So all style times are estimates.Rushed work isn’t always the best work. If you have a timing conflict you must reach out to let me know so we can plan accordingly or potentially reschedule

If you have to cancel please keep in mind your retainer is non-refundable and can only be rescheduled once (1)  

If there is no communication on cancellation, you will be banned from future bookings
